SAINTE-MERE-EGLISE Photographs of D-Day

The most comprehensive collection of photographs on the WWII battle for Sainte-Mere-Eglise ever compiled. The photos are magnificent and depict mostly 505ers in and around the town. A pictorial record of the D-Day events and the days to follow at Saint-Mere-Eglise.

This book contains not only hundreds of never before published period photographs taken at Sainte-Mere-Eglise early June 1944 but also numerous color pictures of equipment and uniforms that fought for the liberation of Ste-Mere-Eglise.
This include General Matthew Ridgway’s famous helmet and Dick Winters’ D-Day equipment. (the later jumping very close from Ste-Mere-Eglise).

Very comprehensive and researched books, filled with mostly unique photos and equipment not seen in other publications. You will not be disappointed with the purchase for yourself or gift.

I own the Sainte Mere Eglise book and its the best pictorial history I ever saw. I hope Carentan is that well, too. Please keep up the great work! Its so essential for building model kits and when reading first hand accounts to visualize what it looked like.
